The COL du Marchairuz is part of the path leading from the Vallée de Joux to Lake Geneva. The history of this passage goes back to the 13th century.
Situated at the crossroads of breathtaking panoramas, the hotel offers breathtaking views of the crests of the Jura, running along its spine, and the majestic expanse of Lake Geneva on its southern slope, with Mont Blanc opposite.
The Musée Atelier will open its doors to us and privatize the site from 5 to 7 pm.

You'll marvel at the Musée Atelier Audemars Piguet, which plunges you into the heart of the brand's cultural universe - past, present and future.
The Musée Atelier Audemars Piguet links the historic workshop dating back to 1875 with an extraordinary spiral-shaped building retracing the brand's history and displaying over 300 watches.
We'll return to the Hôtel Restaurant du Marchairuz, where we'll enjoy an aperitif and dinner of local produce.
We'll spend the night at the hotel.
After breakfast, we leave at 10 a.m. for Lac de Joux and the Vallorbe caves.
We'll visit the caves, which are among the most beautiful in Europe, and you'll be impressed by the majesty of the great natural cathedral. A sound and light show will bring the visit to a beautiful close.
We'll enjoy a cocktail reception in the Cheese Factory in the Grottes, a magical moment in a unique setting!
Head for the Swiss Riviera, passing through the Parc Naturel Régional du Jura Vaudois, along the Route de la Corniche with its picture-postcard panoramas of vineyard terraces on one side, Lake Geneva and the Alps on the other.

Situated on the shores of Lake Geneva and surrounded by the Alps, Le Montreux Palace is a true haven of peace on the Swiss Riviera, enchanting you with its Belle Époque architecture.
We'll arrive early so you can take advantage of the SPA and indoor pool.
Afterwards, it's time to share a drink or two - you won't be driving until the following morning - and relive a day rich in emotions and discoveries.
We will spend the 2 nights of our stay in this magnificent Hotel!
For this 1st evening at the Fairmont Palace, you'll dine at the Montreux Jazz Café, a haven of relaxed luxury directly inspired by the atmosphere of the legendary music festival, and adorned with a wealth of Claude Nobs memorabilia. Enjoy generous cuisine, combined with a selection of the region's finest wines and irresistibly named aperitifs.
After breakfast, we'll hit the road for a 140-kilometre mountain road-trip.
We cross the Canton of Berne to reach Gstaad a beautiful little ski resort and exclusive holiday destination frequented by the international business and entertainment elite.
Then we'll head for Lac de la Gruyère in the Canton of Fribourg, crossing the Gorges de Gérignoz and admiring the 18th-century Grand Chalet de Rossinière, the 113-window residence of the painter Balthus!
We'll stop off at the magnificent Château de Gruyères, where soprano Gisèle Rime will take us on a highly original tour, punctuating her account with medieval ballads and folk songs.
Dating back to the 13th century, the château was the principal residence of the Counts of Gruyères.
For almost five centuries, the counts ruled a large territory from Gruyères, and also distinguished themselves during the Hundred Years' War.
We'll enjoy a cocktail lunch on the Château's panoramic esplanade.
We'll be back at our fabulous Palace de Montreux by 4:30pm, where you'll have plenty of time to enjoy the hotel and its SPA.
For this 2nd evening at the Fairmont Palace, you'll dine on the Terrasse du Petit Palais. The Chef will offer you an authentic Mediterranean culinary experience with a breathtaking view of Lake Geneva and the mountains.
After breakfast, we'll leave the Fairmont Palace Hotel at 10 a.m. and drive along the western side of Lac Léman to Nyon.
From Nyon, we'll enjoy our mechanics as we wind our way around the bends of the Route Blanche, offering exceptional views of Lake Geneva and the Alps.
We'll make our way to Les Rousses and its lake and finish our rally with lunch.
At the Chalet du Lac restaurant, enjoy authentic dishes inspired by the richness of traditional cuisine and local produce.
At the end of the meal, we'll have a collective debriefing, discussing the rally's strengths and weaknesses, which are all areas for improvement that we'll be sure to take into consideration, in all humility, for the next rallies we propose.
